孟雷同志强调，要准确把握主题教育的目标任务和工作安排，全面把握“守初心、担使命，找差距、抓落实”的总要求，在找差距中补短板，在抓落实中见成效。要聚焦学习教育，力求学深悟透，不断增强“四个意识”，坚定“四个自信”，做到“两个维护”，把初心使命转化为改革创新、攻坚克难的自觉行动，提高运用党的创新理论指导实践、推动工作的能力。要坚持问题导向，破解发展难题，紧紧围绕公司改革发展中面临的重点难点问题，围绕解决党的建设面临的紧迫问题，把调查研究贯穿主题教育始终。要认真检视问题，真正找准症结，聚焦党的政治建设、思想建设、作风建设存在的突出问题，认真查摆自身不足，查找工作短板，深刻剖析，逐条列出问题。要深入整改落实，把“改”字贯穿始终，以抓铁有痕的作风、刮骨疗伤的勇气、坚韧不拔的意志，全面抓好整改落实，针对性开展专项整治，立查立改，即知即改，抓一件落实一件。
孟雷同志强调，要按照中央和省委的要求，把“不忘初心、牢记使命”主题教育作为当前和今后一个时期的重要政治任务，抓实每个步骤，确保整体效果和质量。要进一步加强组织领导，周密安排，精心组织，确保各项工作落到实处、取得实效。强化督促检查，从解决问题成效、群众评价反映等方面，评估主题教育效果。坚持统筹兼顾，把主题教育同推进“两学一做”学习教育常态化制度结合起来，同推动省委工作部署和集团公司中心工作结合起来，确保主题教育工作真正取得实效。
